PROCESS
Wow. I had a lot of fun with this app design and development! As always, I start off with several sketches to get my ideas down on paper. I researched many food apps on Pinterest, Behance, Dribbble to understand what people may expect to see in a food app or what was considered to be good UI/UX design in food app circumstances.

I knew I wanted to create an app that showcased the many different kinds of dishes around the world. At this point, my app was just called "The International Cookbook" and I was unsure if I needed to change it, as sometimes the most obvious and simplest title is the best one. I wanted to add videos to the app for those who may have low vision, who are blind, or for those who just happen to learn better through seeing things visually than by reading.

My process was long and extensive, lasting several months, starting from sketches to hi-fi screens. Below, you can see how I developed my process, how I decided on the name of the app, how I designed the screens, and how I could design it for the Apple Watch if it were a possibility.
